Very excited and honored to join the Meinl Cymbals family as an endorsed artist! I wasn’t too familiar with the Meinl sound, to be frank - that is until 2017 when I went to Nashville with Germán Baratto, and we filmed 5 tunes of my creation at Ocean Way Studios. There I was handed some basic standard unmarked cymbals, but Germán let me get into the good stuff. So we went, and German sat as I went through EACH cymbal testing and tasting. The selections I had for my timbal set up in my videos were…*chef’s kiss*. That Meinl sound stuck to my head, and suddenly I couldn’t stop seeing them, and kept hearing them, and kept getting more curious. Looking forward to putting them to good use in NYC.
